FOSS Bangladesh

FOSS Bangladesh is going to celebrate the "Linux Day - 2013" here, in Bangladesh on Sunday, August 25, 2013 along with the global community. All the Bangladeshi FOSS users, lovers, enthusiasts and interested ones of Linux based distros are welcome to join in this event. It's a day long, Open for all event.

Venue: Dhaka.

Event duration: 11.00AM onwards (local time = GMT+6:00).

Event Plan:
11:00 - 11:30 -- Rally on foot along with banners and festoons.
11:30 - 12:00 -- Welcome + Opening Speeches.
12.00 - 14:00-- There will be banners and festoons showing the history and moments, developments information etc. of various Free Softwares and GNU/Linux. Along with these, there will be localized video shows representing Software Freedom, GNU and Linux movements and many more.

There will be a GNU/Linux install and support service booth for the participants, from where they could have the support for free to install GNU/Linux distros on their Desktop/Laptop/Netbook. Moreover DVD's containing GNU/Linux distros will be also available here for the participants.
